The spokesperson of the Coalition United Political Parties CUPP Ikenga Ugochinyere has decried the inhuman treatment melted on him following his arrest by the Nigerian Police Force.

Ugochinyere was arrested on June 18 (Thursday) on the orders of the leadership of the house of representative about comments he made on the ‘shady attempt by the house to pass the infectious disease bill’.

He had accused the leadership of house of representatives of collecting $10 million bribe from Bill Gates foundation to pass the infectious disease control bill.

The CUPP boss was released on Monday following a court order.

Addressing Journalists in Abuja, Ugochinyere said the house of representative disobeyed subsisting court orders restraining the police from arresting and detaining him.

Narrating his ordeal in the hands of the Nigerian Police Force Ikenga said he was abducted in a violent manner and moved to an overcrowded cell in the Maitama police station despite the dangers of COVID-19.

He described his experience in hands of the security agent as a breech of his fundamental human rights.

According to him, despite his encounter in the last few days, he is determined not to shield his sword in the fight for  a better Nigeria.

” I hereby seize the opportunity to restate my commitment to the struggle to the struggle for the liberation of Nigeria. The illegal detention is one of the numerous benefits of being a solider of truth and apostle of the rule of law

We would continue to speak for good governance, rule of law and constitutionality”.

” I am finally out, stronger and determined to fight on and so resolute that even with a gun on my head, i cannot abandon the struggle to wake up incapacitated leaders and their political alleluia boys to their responsibility”.

He however announced the formal commencement of public  interest actions to ensure accountability and uphold gobod leadership both at executive and legislature.
