The long wait is over as former Vice President of the United States of America, Joe Biden has been elected as the President-elect.

He is the 46th elected President in the country’s history, defeating incumbent President Donald Trump.

Biden, who had flipped Pennsylvania from Donald Trump on Friday took an unassailable lead on Saturday with just one percent of votes left.

With 20 electoral votes in Pennsylvania, Biden currently has 273 electoral votes to emerge as the next President of the United States of America.

Biden is expected to speak shortly at his campaign ground in Delaware as well as the Vice President-elect, Senator Kamala Harris.
