… Over 100 Youths To Be Recruited For Exercise

Ondo state governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, on Tuesday ordered the fumigation of all markets and motor parks in the state.

This is part of the measures put in place by the state government to contain the spread of Covid-19 known as Coronavirus.

The fumigation will be carried out by the committee on Sanitation and Traffic Rules.

The state has already procured motorised spraying machines, chlorine and other materials for the exercise.

Weewood Limited, one of the companies at the Ondo-Linyi Industrial Hub, Omotosho in Odigbo Local Government Area of the state, has donated 50 drums of ethanol for the fumigation.

A minimum of five Hilux vehicles have been pulled from the state transport pool to carry tanks for the fumigation exercise.

Over one hundred youths will be recruited for the exercise across the state.

The exercise is expected to commence on Wednesday from Akure, the state capital.

Other places to be visited include Ikare, Ondo, Ore, Igbokoda and Igbara-Oke.
